How Browzer Engage Helped Keep Arrivals Running Smoothly for LSE
In summer 2024, just 11 days before new students were due to arrive, LSE discovered that the Vitality London 10K, a major city-centre race, was scheduled on the same day as their Arrivals Weekend. With large parts of central London cordoned off and key routes to halls blocked, there was a real risk that students and their families would face severe delays and confusion during their move-in.
Thankfully, LSE had Halls Life, powered by Browzer Engage.
With our content support in place, the Browzer team were able to act fast, creating a clear, helpful story and publishing it live to LSE’s Halls Life the very same day.
The post included:
- A map of the Vitality 10K route
- Direct links to the race website and Transport for London (TfL) for live updates
- Travel guidance and suggested adjustments to arrival times
- Reassurance for new students navigating a potentially stressful day

The Result
Because LSE had already embedded Halls Life into their pre-arrival journey, students were used to visiting the site, and the update was seen by over 1,000 users in a matter of days.
There were no reported issues on the day. By getting critical information in front of students quickly, in a channel they were already engaging with, LSE successfully avoided a potential move-in crisis.
